Native to Africa, Sansevieria Trifasciata Whitney is a succulent plant that is grown inside in cooler climes. They are an excellent choice for beginners because they can withstand low light levels and thrive in temperatures that go up to 35 degrees Celsius.

Although it can withstand low indirect light, it thrives in medium to bright indirect light. Water the soil every two to three weeks, letting it dry out in between. In stronger light, watering should occur more frequently; in lower light, less frequently.
