The compact herbaceous perennial leaf-succulent Sansevieria francisii elongates and sends down walking legs (stolons) resembling pandanus. It is more accurate to say that the leaves' crossbanding and form resemble those of Sansevieria suffruticosa. On the other hand, this plant has leaves that are up to 15 cm long and just as sharply pointed as the previous one. This plant is unique in that it grows in tight rows of five leaves, which it continues to add more of until the leaves either fall over or sprout stolons, or both. It can reach a maximum length of 60 centimeters in this way. In its younger phases, the plant has a really striking appearance.

The Plant of Snakes gracilis is a low-maintenance houseplant. It can withstand low light levels. At night, snake plants release oxygen, and NASA strongly suggests using snake plants to absorb airborne pollutants.

Dos

Although it can withstand low indirect light, it thrives in medium to bright indirect light. Water the soil every two to three weeks, letting it dry out in between.

Don'ts

Root rot is often caused by overwatering. Look out for spider mites and mealybugs.
